Formule 1 hotels in Sydney follow the same philosophy of Formule 1 hotels which present the international traveller with inexpensive but clean accommodation in 80 countries, are at a few locations in Sydney. (And, by the way it is spelt FORMULE 1, with an E at the end and not FORMULA 1 as with an A.)
Formule 1 hotels in Sydney offer rooms for couples or families, with breakfast at an extra cost of $7AUD.
The standard Formule One rooms have a double bed and a loft bed, a wash basin with mirror, corner table and TV with national and international channels.
There is a shower and toilet. Family rooms are available in some hotels and those can accommodate four people. The family room has a double bed plus two bunk-beds.
Pets are not allowed in Formule 1 hotels in Australia.
Breakfast, at an extra cost of about $7AUD, includes breads, butter, jam, cereals, fruit, orange drink, coffee or tea. It operates from 7am to 10am. Breakfast is the only meal available at the Formule 1 hotels in Sydney, although the ground floor corridor usually has a few vending machines with the typical unhealthy snacks and soft drinks one finds everywhere these days.
Formule 1 reception operates from 7am to 10am and then from noon to 10pm. If you arrive when reception is closed, you will have to use the automatic check-in system at the hotel’s entrance. Payment is by credit card or EFTPOS. An email will be sent to you with a booking reference to use at the automatic check-in terminal. You need to type in a pin number (which they issue you with) to open the front door of the hotel, and again to open the door to your room.
