Palm Beach

Where Millionaires and Surfers Enjoy The Waves

Palm Beach, perched on the northern most tip of Sydney's northern beaches region, it's a favorite remote spot for millionaires and movie stars.

Sydney's most northern surf beach, Palm Beach is also a favourite spot to visit for fishermen, backpackers and surfers who live near the area.

The Australian TV series Home and Away, used Palm Beach as the idyllic location they called Summer Bay.

The Palm Beach peninsula flattens into a long, sandy sandbar that connects the mainland to the spectacular Barrenjoey lighthouse.

On the east side of Palm Beach peninsula lies the Pacific Ocean. And on the west there are 11 Kilometers of inland waterways known as the Pittwater, and the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

Palm Beach is especially beautiful in the early morning, when you can watch the fishermen fishing from the beach, as well as surfers, joggers and canoeists.
