Walk Under Sharks and Giant Manta Rays

Located at the city side of Darling Harbour, Sydney, the Sydney Aquarium is best reached by foot from Market Street or King Street.

See gigantic sharks and manta rays swim above your head as you walk in armored plastic tunnels underneath them.

Water taxis work from near the Sydney Aquarium at Darling Harbour.At Sydney Aquarium, you can view the fish and habitat of the Great Barrier Reef up close, before you head north for Queensland to experience the real thing.

A Seal Sanctuary with two million liters of water from Sydney harbour is home to an Australian sea lion and Australian and New Zealand seal species. More underwater tunnels allow you to walk under the seals too.

There are penguins, and even crocodiles you view up close at Sydney Aquarium.

Most mornings there's a seal feeding at 9:00 am, and an afternoon feed time at 3:00 pm for the other creatures.
