Sydney Attractions
These are the prime 'must-see' sights and experiences that Sydney Australia has to offer its visitors. First on the list is the Sydney Opera House, followed by the Harbour Bridge, and both of these are visible from - and only a short walk from Circular Quay. After that, it is a hard decision to pick which area of Sydney to look at first.
There's Darling Harbour, with its many attractions from some prime restaurants with harbour views to exhibition halls, a convention centre, a large and modern shopping mall complex with many boutique shops and some truly unique and Australian stores. The area is also home to the stunning IMAX Theatre, where giant-sized 3D movies leap out at you for an unforgettable experience. Darling Harbour is also home to the Sydney Aquarium and the Australian National Maritime Museum.
When that's tired you out, you'll find the Chinese Garden of Friendship which, naturally enough, is at the corner nearest to Sydney's Chinatown, and close to the Sydney Entertainment Centre and Paddy's Markets. And a short walk away or, if you prefer, a ride on the Sydney Monorail, you'll find the world-famous Powerhouse Museum in Ultimo.
But that's only the beginning of the sights and experiences that Sydney has in store for you.
