Markets

Craft markets, second hand goods markets and produce markets at various Sydney suburbs. Markets usually operate on the weekends, some every weekend, some once a fortnight- usually in church or school grounds or in a suburb's public mall.

The better markets sell original goods made by craftspeople and artists - clothing, homewares, art work, jewellery to name some of the categories.

Then there are markets where people can sell some of their own unwanted goods such as jewellery, clothing and small household items. The produce markets, usually called farmers' markets, sell fresh vegetables and fruit, usually organic. They often operate once a fortnight or monthly and have an avid following -- mostly of locals who are in-the-know.
